Atheists, and anyone else: Do you think absence of evidence?

I looked at the answers so far, and I saw none that questioned the "evidence" you speak of. What is evidence to one may not necessarily be evidence to another. I assume you are speaking of physical, measurable evidence, like mice droppings. In this you leave out abstract evidence. Is love a reality? Prove to me it is love and not just devotion or commitment or infatuation or just plain pity. It is a matter of the heart. Is it evidence if you cannot prove it beyond a doubt? It is to you, if not to anyone else, if you are the one in love. You will see it clearly. Nuff said I guess. Good question though.
