Information about Carl Sagan - Cosmos?

anyone looking to be an amateur astronomer will do well to pay homage to Carl Sagans works. I strongly suggest watching the tv series as well. I thought that it would possibly seem out-dated with all the discoveries made over the last thirty years, I could not have been more wrong. Sagan has a fantastic way of making sometimes difficult information easily understood, or at the very least appreciated to the average person.
