What do you think of this quote?

I think there is allot of truth to this, and obviously animal can suffer. This is why we have humane societies to benefit the cost and benefits of certain 'cruelties'. If one does not feel guilt, then one does not feel, or one has traded that guilt for ideologies such as animals do not suffer therefore I feel no guilt.
